Drewsteignton Fire - March 2025
On 17th March 2025 a devastating fire took hold in the thatched cottages opposite the pub. What started as a small fire next to a chimney, quickly spread and destroyed a row of ancient thatched cottages owned by the National Trust in the heart of the village.

Since we launched the share offer campaign to turn The Drewe into a community pub we've had an PHENOMENAL response. So far, 261 people have stepped up and invested over £452,000, which is AMAZING!
