Prime Ministers stops by for a pint... (of lemonade!)

It’s not every day you get a Prime Minister drop in to your local, but news of the record-breaking Drewe Arms Community Buyout, it would seem, has gone right to the top.
We recognise that Rishi Sunak’s appearance in the Drewe Arms is part of the general election campaign trail and there’ll be many who’ll be cynical but Mel Stride, our local MP, has been massively supportive from day one in our bid to buy the pub, and bringing the PM here puts The Drewe well and truly on the map!
That said, for the sake of impartiality and with four and half weeks to go before polling day, we’d welcome Keir Starmer and Ed Davey too…!
