Mel Stride at the Drewe Arms

Out of the blue, MP for Central Devon and Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Mel Stride, having seen our campaign, contacted the steering group and met with several of us to learn more about the community drive to buy the pub.

It was an extremely positive meeting in which Mel underlined his support for what we were doing and suggested ways in which he and his team would try to help. In all, a fantastic boost for the pub!
